Hey guys! Welcome back. I guess you could say I got my second wind. I decided to do a part two of the Q&A because as I wrapped up the first one I was left with so many amazing questions that I still had left to answer. So I decided for the first time ever to do a part two. I don’t know how many questions I will answer in this post, but I still have so many that I really want to answer. So let’s get into this and who knows maybe there will be a part three?
What’s the most memorable thing that God has done for you?
He brought me here. As cheesy as that may sound, it’s true. Last summer I was extremely broken and scared. I wasn’t sure where I was going or what I was doing. I didn’t know what the future held for me. But the entire time I chose to trust God and trust that He knew what He was doing. And He led me here. I couldn’t be more grateful.
What’s a big red flag that you look for when dating?
Lack of motivation. I don’t care what your passion is, as long as you have one. If you don’t have one, I’m not sure our energies will match. I also pay close attention to how they talk to me and if anything sparks a concern.
What characteristics are you hoping your future husband will have?
They have to be able to make my laugh, someone who is kind, hard-working, and has similar values.
What’s one thing you would relive if you could and why?
If I knew then what I know now, there are so many things about last year that I would have done differently.
What inspired you to pursue the path you’re currently on?
It just felt right. I feel like I am at the perfect point in my life to pursue this path.
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned about yourself over the past year?
The most important thing that I have learned over the past year is that I am more capable than people tend to believe. Before I got here so many people doubted if I had what it took and I did it anyway. And now I’m here. I can’t believe that I ever let anyone try to convince me that I couldn’t do this because even though I did struggle in the beginning, I still made it.
What’s a false assumption that people make about you?
That I don’t like people. I actually love people. I just also really like being alone sometimes.
What’s the toughest life lesson you’ve had to learn?
That people aren’t going to always treat me the way I treat them. It doesn’t matter how much you do for some people, at the end of the day they will focus on what you weren’t able to do for them. One of my biggest struggles growing up was believing that I didn’t have a value outside of what I could do for others. So sometimes putting myself first in any situation feels wrong.
What’s one way a guy can get your attention?
Literally anything. Just be nice and you pretty much have my attention.
What is your biggest goal in life?
To be happy and create a happy home for anyone in it.
What’s your favorite song right now?
My favorite song right now is “Butterfly” by Demi Lovato. However, Taylor Swift just released her version of her “Fearless” album and I have been listening to it pretty much nonstop.
What’s your latest obsession?
Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” album. It’s just so good!
When you’re having a bad day, what do you do to make it better?
This isn’t a new thing, but I don’t think I’ve ever shared it. When I am having a bad day the thing I do to make it better is I get some Oreos, a glass of milk and I sit down and watch The Office. Can’t have a bad day after that.
Is there a dream you’ve given up on?
I wouldn’t say I have given up on any dreams. Just knowing that it’s not the right time right now.
What’s your dream honeymoon?
That’s a good question. Probably somewhere tropical?
What’s something I can do to strengthen my relationship with God?
Pray and keep praying. Pray when things are going well and when they are not.
What’s the best thing that happened to you so far this year?
I can’t share that just yet, but I will let you guys know very soon. I’m excited.
What’s the thing you look forward to most everyday?
The thing I look forward to everyday is that time at the end of the day when I’m just relaxing. It’s my favorite.
Okay that’s where I will end part two! I really hope you enjoyed this one. As always, if you have any other questions feel free to leave them in the comments. Talk to you soon!
