Hey guys! Welcome back. Happy Sunday if you are reading it on the day I post it. It’s a bit late, but I didn’t get it fully ready to go out yesterday so I am here now trying to finish it up. There wasn’t too much happening this week other than a few trips to the store, work, and just the random things that happen in everyday life. But in today’s recap I wanted to give you a grad school update because I haven’t really had much of an update these past few weeks. I wanted to touch on it a little bit because it has become such a big part of my life and I want to share what I can with you in case you are going through it too. I will also be sharing a few of the little things that happened this week just as a little update.

As far as the update goes, I finished my first grad school class yesterday. It looks like my overall grade in that class is going to be a B which I am not mad about. It was my first one and it took some adjusting to in the beginning, so I knew it would be tricky. I also didn’t study for the final at all so I didn’t do as well as I could have. But overall it was a great first class and I am excited for more! I got the textbook for my new class on Thursday. That class starts this week and I have quite a few things due, including my first paper. So it’s going to be a pretty crazy first week, but I will get through it.

We ended up being out most of the day on Wednesday. We went to Walmart twice, Goodwill, and a pet store that I can’t remember the name of. They had a lot of fish and reptiles. It was kind of cool to see. When we got back it was really just a lot of resting and taking the rest of the day off. I try not to do anything too crazy on my days off once we get back from wherever we were. Saturday was very similar. We didn’t go to as many places but we did go look around just to see what we could find. We got home pretty early yesterday and that is when I did my final. We also did do a pretty good deep clean of the kitchen, the fridge, and the pantry because it desperately needed to be done.

It’s been a struggle these past couple of weeks trying to keep up with everything. I can’t pretend like it’s been easy. The anxiety and depression has been a bigger struggle than I thought it would be with so many changes happening. I know I will get through it and I just need to keep pushing through, but trying to keep up with it all has been a challenge. There is so much that I’m just trying to get through everyday and it really helps to know that I’m not alone. I am extremely lucky and fortunate enough to have a really good support system now and to have people who are there when I am feeling low. It’s made things so much easier and I am so thankful.

And that’s really all for this one. I didn’t have a ton going on this week other than the usual stuff. I am excited about starting this new class though and seeing what I learn. Thank you so much for stopping by! I really hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments if you had anything fun or exciting happen this week or if your week was just as normal as it always is. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
