Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week so far. I can’t believe it’s already July because it feels like June was only like two weeks long, but here we are. And with a new month comes me sharing my favorite things from last month and my goals for the new month. So hopefully you are excited and stick around to see what I have to share. Even though June seemed really short it was also a very chaotic month so I’m kind of glad it’s over. I’m ready for a fresh start! So let’s dive right into this!
Week long vacation.
Some of you may remember earlier this month I had a week off from work due to technical issues. Pretty much no one was working that week and we got paid for it. And I can’t sit here and say that wasn’t one of my favorite things about this month. I had some much needed time to just rest and recover so it was really great.
The Bachelorette is back and I’ll be honest I didn’t watch the last season of The Bachelorette or The Bachelor. I kind of just wasn’t into it, but I started watching again this season and I love it. I think Katie is doing a really great job and I can’t wait to see how her story continues to unfold. Let me know in the comments if you are also watching!
I listen to her entire album pretty much everyday. It’s so good. I love so many of the songs and I think she just does a really great job at conveying emotion and heart into her songs. I love listening to her album no matter what I’m doing because I just really feel it when I’m listening to it.
“Rouge Affair” Blush Palette.
This is from Jaclyn Cosmetics and I honestly love it. I have never really been into blush that much, but I love this blush palette. It has really great pigment and some really great shades. I also love that they are all cool-toned and that I can blend them out really easily. It’s just a great palette to have.
Midnight Swim Collection.
The is probably one of my favorite Bath And Body Works scents of all time. I got the body wash, body lotion, and body spray and I love it. It just smells like summer and water. It reminds me of happiness and it honestly just smells amazing. I use it everyday and I will probably pick up more soon.
You’re Golden Eyeshadow Palette.
I can’t remember if I got this last month or this month, but I really started using it this month and regardless it’s a favorite. The eyeshadows are so pretty and they blend so well. They also have great pigment and there are so many different looks you can create. It’s also pretty affordable, so you can’t beat it.
Read one book.
I’m still working on that same book. June was such a crazy month that I really didn’t get much reading done. I’m hoping to get back into it as things start to calm down and I get into a better head space with more time. I really want to get through this book so I can start a new one.
Workout four times a week.
I think this is manageable and completely realistic. It’s not always possible for me to workout every single day, but shooting for four times a week is a lot easier. It’s basically every other day and I think that’s something I can shoot for. If I happen to workout everyday, that’s even better.
Be more active on Instagram/TikTok.
I just realized yesterday that I have almost 100 followers on TikTok and I don’t really post TikToks. So I think if I started posting I could probably grow even more with more engaging followers. So I will be trying to post more and just see what kind of video ideas I can come up with. I’m not totally confident, but we will see what happens.
Schedule blog posts in advance.
I kind of fell behind this month with the posting and staying on top of everything. I did have a lot going on in other areas of my life, so I try not to be too hard on myself for it. But I do want to get back into a routine and the habit of scheduling the posts ahead of time so I know they are ready.
Get back into journaling.
This is another thing that kind of fell off in June. I really want to get back into journaling daily because it has helped me a lot so far this year. I have learned so much about myself and I really want to start making time for it again because it helps me relax and focus on myself for a few minutes.
Celebrate my birthday.
My birthday is in three weeks and I have something really fun planned. I’m not going to share exactly what it is yet, but I am super excited. I’m going to try to do something I’ve never done before and I’m really looking forward to it. I have some other things planned as well, but there’s one big thing I’m really looking forward to.
And those were my favorites from last month and my goals for this month! I can’t believe it’s already July, but I’m excited to see what’s in store for this month. I have a good feeling about this one. Thank you so much for stopping by! I really hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what your favorites from last month or your goals for this month are. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
