Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week so far. I don’t know about you, but for me it’s felt like time is flying by extra quickly lately. I feel like I never have enough time in the day. And sometimes I really do only have 15 minutes to do something. So today I thought I would share some of my favorite things to accomplish in 15 minutes or less. It’s a great way to feel productive and knock a necessary task out without having to commit too much time to it. So if you have some time this week and just want some small things you can do quickly, I compiled a list that will hopefully give you some inspiration!
Clear up some space on your phone.
Even if you have a ton of space on your phone, it’s always good to go through and get rid of things you don’t necessarily need. Whether it’s apps you no longer need, pictures you can store somewhere else, or random things you downloaded and forgot about, take a few minutes to go through and clear some things up. Take a quick inventory of the things on your phone, even if it’s just on the surface level, and see how much you can get cleared up. It may not seem like a big deal, but you might be surprised about how much stuff you are holding on to that you really don’t need.
Make a grocery list.
If you are running out of things, know something you want to get, or just know you will forget something without a list, go ahead and take some time to write out a list. Also, make sure to include anything you might be able to find in bulk and put a star by it. Some things are cheaper when they come in bulk and while you’re thinking about it you can make a plan to try to pick up a few of these things. Make sure you check your cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, and things along that nature so you know you won’t run out.
Clean out your fridge or pantry.
You don’t have to do a deep clean of it right now, but if you have 15 minutes, go through and toss out any expired items or things you know aren’t any good anymore. If you have foods in your pantry that you know you won’t be eating or you have too many of, put them aside in a basket or a bag and drop them off at a food shelter when you get a chance. It’s a great way to get rid of some clutter and help someone else out in the process. If you have any food that you aren’t sure is good anymore, a good rule of thumb is if you’re questioning it, toss it.
Wipe down your counters.
You can do a quick spray down and wiping of your kitchen counters and have plenty of time to spare. It doesn’t take that long and you will feel so much better once it’s done. It’s probably one of my favorite things to do aside from doing the dishes. It’s just so satisfying and a great way to feel productive without having to put in too much effort. This is also a great time to remove any clutter from your kitchen counters and anything that doesn’t need to be there. Put it in it’s rightful home and you have already accomplished so much.
Do some stretches.
15 minutes is plenty of time to move your body and do some stretches. It’s a great way to wake up your body and give yourself just the pick me up that you were needing. Take a few minutes to find a quick YouTube video that can help guide you through some stretches depending on what you are needing and how you want to feel when it’s over. Whether it’s relaxed, energized, motivated, or just lighter, take some time to do some stretches and really give your body a break. I promise you won’t regret doing this one.
And those are some of my favorite things to do with 15 minutes or less. 15 minutes isn’t a ton of time, but it’s enough to get some things done. Thank you so much for stopping by! I really hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what your favorite things to do with 15 minutes or less are. I’m sure there are so many that I didn’t include or haven’t even thought of, so let us know what you like to do down below.
