Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are all having a great weekend. It’s the last day of July (which still seems crazy to me), but that means we are heading into a new month. I have a feeling things are going to change drastically this month, if things go the way I want them to anyway, so it’s going to be a pretty insane month. But I am extremely excited about it and I can’t wait to share the journey with you. I took a really big chance this past week and I am excited and nervous about what will come of it. I hope to hear soon. But for now, I think it’s time to wrap up July and head into August with a fresh start.
Painting. I got back into painting this month and I’ve been loving it. I have already painted three canvases. They are artist material by any means, but they are pretty good considering I haven’t painted in years and I’ve never painted the kinds of things I have painted recently.
The Bachelorette. Is anyone else absolutely loving this season? I have been watching the show for six years and I have cried more times this season alone than all the other seasons combined. And I just love Katie. I think she has done a really great job and the bachelorette and I’m excited to see the end.
Harry Potter. One of my friends and I recently started watching the movies again and decided we needed to read the books again as well. I don’t actually own the books, but I’m on the hunt and will be getting them soon. I will probably buy them used, but I’ll have them at least.
Journaling. I mentioned before that I kind of fell off track the past couple of months, but I have gotten back into it recently. It’s been a lot of fun and really good for me to just get back with connecting with myself and really taking those moments everyday to myself.
Audio Books. I have been loving audio books because they allow me to get in some reading while I’m doing other things. I haven’t listened to too many, but I am getting into it slowly. Let me know in you have any recommendations on audio books that you have loved.
Start a new blog series.
I have a couple of ideas that I’m really excited about and I’m hoping to get one started fairly soon. If you have any ideas for blog series that you would like to see from me, let me know in the comments. I am open to suggestions of what you guys would like to see or want to see more of.
Read for 30 minutes everyday.
Instead of having a goal of reading a certain number of books, I want to make it a goal to read for 30 minutes everyday. I think this is a great way to build that habit and read more than I have been. It helps me make sure I am reading everyday and not just rushing at the end of the month to finish my book.
Do a Summer giveaway.
Summer will be ending here soon and I want to do a giveaway before it’s over. I will be doing it at some point this month, so stay tuned for that. And if there is something specific you would like to see as a part of the giveaway, let me know in the comments. I want to give away something you guys want.
Complete August Wellness Challenge.
I will be sharing more on that in my post tomorrow. I’m really excited about this challenge though and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. I think August is a really great month for a challenge and I’m looking forward to seeing what the results are and how much growth I am able to make happen through it.
Post an Instagram story everyday.
I have never really been great at Instagram, but I’m really trying to get back into it. And if you aren’t already following me, you absolutely should because I’m really making an effort. I want to post at least one Instagram story everyday which shouldn’t be that hard, but sometimes I forget. So let’s see what happens when I make it a goal.
And that’s it! Those were my favorites from July and my goals for August. It’s going to be a great month I have a feeling. Thank you so much for stopping by! I really hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what your favorites from last month were or what your goals for this upcoming month are. I would love to know. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
