Hey guys! Welcome back. I am always looking for new ways to grow and get better. I love learning and any opportunity that allows me to pick up a new skill is always welcome. And with that there are a few skills that help me take a more creative approach which helps me learn even more because I get even more invested in it. So I wanted to share those creative skills with you today in case you are looking for some skills that may help you be more creative in your approach to personal growth and growing into the person you want to be.

Verbal Communication.

It may not seem like verbal communication is a creative skill but I think it can be. I think everyone has their own style and their own way of speaking that allows them to take a creative approach if they choose to. At some point we all have to get comfortable with using our voice and communicating with others whether it’s necessarily our favorite thing to do or not. So taking the time to develop those communication skills in a creative way is a great way to get better at speaking with others and just being more confident.

Taking Photos.

We all take photos all the time and we love having pictures and videos for memories, to share with others, and just to have. So being able to take good, quality photos is a great way to save those moments and have even better reminders of the things you want to keep. So this is a really great creative skill to develop because over time you can become even better with the camera and capturing every moment you want to capture in the way you want to capture. This is another skill where you can develop your own style.

Cooking.

Knowing how to cook is severely underrated. Being able to make meals is a really great skill to have and it’s a great way to get creative at something you already know how to do. When it comes to cooking it doesn’t always have to be basic and boring. There are a ton of ways to get creative in the kitchen and put your own spin on whatever you are cooking or baking. It doesn’t have to be too crazy, but there are options and you can make your own. Cooking can be so much fun and it’s a great way to find new things that you really like.

Writing.

Writing is something that I have always loved and have always been really good at. However, I recognize that it’s not a skill everyone is really great at. So I always encourage people to grow their writing by being creative. Whether it’s keeping a journal, writing stories, or just writing whatever comes to mind, writing is a great skill to have. Being able to communicate through writing and share what needs to be shared in an effective way is also really important. So you can grow this skill by getting creative with it.

Painting.

Painting is a great skill for many reasons. Whether you are painting houses, pictures, or painting other objects, painting comes with a variety of possibilities and benefits. It helps teach you control, focus, and helps you find your vision. It helps bring out an even newer creative side, one you may not have known you had before. It helps you take your mind off of things that are happening on the outside and allows you to focus solely on the inside and what you want to express through your painting. It’s really fun too.

And that’s it! Those are the creative skills that help me grow as a person and help with developing the skills that I really want to keep working on. It’s all still very much a work in progress, but it’s so much more fun when I get to be creative with it and do things my own way. Thank you so much for stopping by! I really hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what creative skills you are working on. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
