Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are all having a great week so far. It crazy to think that tomorrow is already a new month. I feel like August just started. Nonetheless, we are here and ready to start off a new month with a really solid foundation and to do that I have one thing left to do. And that is to wrap up August by sharing with you my favorites and my goals for this new month. I’m really excited about September and I see some really great things coming up so I’m really excited to be able to share it all with you. But for now, let’s get into my favorites and my new goals.

August Favorites:

I watched the entire series in like two weeks. All six seasons. To be fair I watched while I was working so that’s at least eight hours a day. And of course I would watch on my days off. So I was watching it quite a bit. But I really love the show and I wasn’t sure if I would in the beginning. But I have really fallen in love with it and I’m watching it for the second time now.

It’s almost Fall and Fall is my favorite time for candles. I recently ordered some new Bath & Body Works candles (that I mentioned yesterday). I’m really excited for all the Fall candles and warm scents.

Home decor shopping.

It’s finally time to start shopping for Fall decor and I’m so excited. I’m really looking forward to decorating the apartment for Fall and making it feel warm and cozy again. We haven’t done much decorating since the new roommates moved in, so I’m really excited to start now.

I’ve still really been into painting and it’s been a really good stress reliever. I can’t wait to see what other ideas I can come up with and continue filling up my walls with paintings.

Quiet mornings.

I’ve been getting up earlier these past couple of weeks since Penny came home because she likes to wake me up early in the morning. But I have started to really enjoy it because I love the quiet mornings before everyone else gets up. There is something really peaceful and relaxing about it.

September Goals:

Wash blankets and bedding.

With Fall approaching it’s time for me to get out all of the throw blankets and get them washed and ready to go. I also need to wash my comforter and sheets so I can put my comforter back on my bed. I didn’t have it for most of the Summer because I wasn’t really sleeping with it and it was more just in the way. So my goal this month is to get them all washed and hopefully be ready for the colder nights and evenings.

Clean out the fridge.

The fridge was mostly cleaned out before the new roommates moved in, but it needs to be deep cleaned really badly. And just organized in general. It’s something that just needs to be done.

Start decorating for Fall.

This is something that I am actually really looking forward to. It’s going to be so much fun to see it all come together and see all the great things we find and how it looks when it’s done. It’s something we are trying to get done as much as possible this month so we can really enjoy it October and November. Of course we will add things as we go.

Organize my dresser.

My dresser has kind of been a disaster for a few weeks now. It’s fine, but it’s really unorganized and I really just want to get the drawers organized and have everything where I need it to be.

Update my home office space.

I’m going back to work on site next Tuesday because they really need people back in office so I will be getting my desk back. So I really want to update my home office space and reorganize it. I will finally be able to sit there and do other things now that there won’t be two giant computers in the way so I’m really excited about that.

And that’s it. Those were my favorites from August and my goals for September. It’s not much, but it’s enough for me and that’s what matters. Thank you so much for stopping by! I really hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what your favorites from last month were and what your goals for this upcoming month are. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
