Hey guys! Welcome back. I don’t know about you but I spent years seeing people on Instagram and YouTube go all out on decorating their homes. I thought it needed to be this really extravagant ordeal that would cost a lot of money. But after the last year of having my own apartment and my own space to decorate, I realized that it didn’t have to be so much. There are plenty of ways to decorate for any season or occasion without spending a ton of money. So today I thought I would share some easy ways to decorate for Fall when you’re on a budget.

Decorate with mini pumpkins.

Mini pumpkins are great because they are super affordable and they don’t take up much space. And if you get fake mini pumpkins you can store them a lot easier and keep them for years to come. You can use them in the kitchen, bathroom, office, or even your bedroom. They add just enough of that Fall feel without being too much in space or in cost.

Have a Fall craft night.

If you live with others or want to get together with friends one night, a great way to save money on Fall decor is to make your own. You can use supplies you already have or hit up the Dollar Tree because they have a ton of supplies that are just $1. This is a great way to spend time with others and also make some Fall decor. Of course you could absolutely do this by yourself if you wanted. If you aren’t super creative and aren’t sure what you could make, take a look on Pinterest. They probably have more ideas than anyone could think of on their own.

Find things that are functional.

One of the best ways to decorate and still save money is to find decor that is also functional. Whether it’s switching out your dish towels, adding some Fall-themed throw pillows, or getting Fall scented candles, finding things that are Fall related but that you can still use will help make the purchases a lot more justifiable because these are things you are going to use.

Update your entryway.

Make your entryway warmer and give it a more welcoming appeal. Add a nice rug and if you have a table in your entryway, add some flowers or a pumpkin if you have one. You could also hang a cute sign or some Fall-themed family pictures. Making your entryway cozier and feel more like Fall will help give you that Fall vibe you are going for before you even really get into your house. It’s a great place to start at least.

Use your coffee table.

Adding a few things to your coffee table is another great way to decorate for Fall while not taking up too much space. You can add a nice candle, a few books, and maybe a Fall-themed table runner just for a little extra coziness. It doesn’t have to be much for it to have an impact.

Get out your throw blankets.

It’s going to start getting colder and we all have at least a few throw blankets that we can bring out. Even if you already have them out, give them a good wash so they are fresh and then present them in a new fashion. You can get a basket to store some, you can drape them over the couch, or you can have them folded on a shelf just in case someone needs them. Utilize whatever space you can and add as many throw blankets as you can or that you want to. This will help give that cozy feeling that we all really love having for Fall.

Make a centerpiece.

If you have a dining room table or a table at all, create a Fall centerpiece. You can use pumpkins, leaves, flowers, or whatever else you can think of to create that centerpiece. If you don’t have a table, you can do it on an end table in your living room or create something on a kitchen counter. Anywhere that you will see everyday.

Spruce up your bathroom.

Your bathroom is probably the last place that you would expect to decorate for Fall, but it’s also a really great place to decorate if you’re on a budget but want to add something. You can hang some Fall printables, add some flowers, or add a Fall scented candle because you are in the smelliest room of the house. Just a few small things can make a huge difference overall in the vibe in your home, so don’t be afraid to add a few things here.

And that’s it! Those are my favorite ways to decorate for Fall on a budget. Like I said, you don’t have to go all out if you can’t really afford to, but that doesn’t mean you can’t decorate at all. Just get creative with it and I promise you’ll love it. Thank you so much for stopping by! I really hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did.
